Mari Fitz-Wynn and her late husband, P. Edward Wynn, home schooled their six children for 17years. Over the course of time Mari and Edward recognized the experience, and wealth of information veteran home educators had to offer new home school families. Their questions and concern for bringing the two together became the vision for Heart for Home School Ministries. Their desire was to provide a means by which to foster a spirit of mentoring, advising, and partnering between families with little or no familiarity with home education and those that were seasoned and knowledgeable about teaching at home.
The organization is served through numerous volunteers; from a five member board of directors, and an administrative/office assistant, to those who help out in various capacities with the annual seminars and conferences.
